If you are thinking about visiting Kilnsey Trekking and Riding Centre for a day trek or ride and are looking for accomodation, outdoor activities or orther things to enjoy whilst in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, we have compiled a short list of places to stay and things to do that might be of interest.

Places to stay

There are numerous places to stay if you choose to visit the Yorkshire Dales. There are bed and breakfasts, bunk barns, hotels, pubs and self-catering cottages. Here a few that are convenient for our riding centre:

Topham's Laithe, Conistone with Kilnsey

Topham's Laithe is a self-catering cottage situated in the same villages as our riding centre.

The Confluence Centre, Kilnsey

The Confluence Centre is a self-catering group accomodation situated only a mile from our riding school.

Skirfare Bridge Barn, Kilnsey

Skirfare Bridge Barn is a self-catering bunk barn accomodation situated one mile from our riding centre.

The Queens Arms, Litton

The Queens Arms is an authentic rural free-house just a few miles from our riding centre.

The Old Hall, Kilnsey

The Old Hall is a charming 200 year old hall offering bed and breakfast only a mile from our riding stables.

Newton Grange Farm, Bank Newton

Newton Grange Farm offers high quality bed and breakfast and self catering accomodation just a short distance from our trekking centre.

Things to do

Kilnsey Park, Kilnsey

Kilnsey Park is a working trout farm that offers, fishing, nature trails, aquarium with a restaurant and coffe shop. All within walking distance of our stables.

Craven Country Ride

If you have your own horse, the Craven Country Ride is a cross country course where you can jump and gallop in beautiful surroundings.

Yorkshire Dales Fly Fishing

Yorkshire Dales Fly Fishing offers fly fishing tickets, courses and tuition.
