MEET THE STAFF

Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre Yard Manager is Mrs Jane Pighills.  Jane has a lifetime of working with all types of horses, from foals and youngstock to eventers and racehorses.  She held a trainers permit for many years with considerable success on the racecourse. 

She now prefers to event, and has done well with her current horses, Dungarvey, at Intro level, Charlie X, at Pre-Novice, and The Ballyard Boy in Novice classes.

Instructor at the yard is Michelle Parkin Vaughan, a registered BHSAI and Int. Stable Manager.  Michelle competes locally in showjumping classes, riding Agatha, a horse owned by Mrs Vanessa Roberts.

We also have several trainees at the yard, including Lianne Parkin, training to instruct.

Also working at the yard, when not at school, are Christine, Ella, Emily, Bryony, Kim and Jess, who are all cheerful and hard-working helpers, and all active members of our local Pony Club, the Pendle Forest & Craven Hunt Branch.
